How to migrate a mailbox

Log into M365 Admin Console
- Use your SA account.
- Navigate to the Exchange Admin

Access Migration
In Exchange Admin, go to the Migration tab.

Add Migration Batch
- Click on Add migration batch.
- Enter the migration batch name (it can be anything, usually the name of the mailbox being migrated).
- Set the migration path to: Migration to Exchange Online > Click Next.

Select Migration Type
- Choose Remote move migration > Click Next.

Prerequisites for Remote Migration
- On the “Prerequisites for remote migration” window, click Next.

Select Migration Endpoint
- Choose Zywave_OnPrem_2022 (it’s the only option) > Click Next.

Add User Mailbox(es)
- Select Manually add users to migrate.
- Click in the box and select the mailboxes available to migrate.
- Choose your user and click Next.
- Select Manually add users to migrate.

Move Configuration
- Select the target delivery domain: zywave.mail.onmicrosoft.com (it’s the only choice) > Click Next.

Schedule Batch Migration
- Enter your email address.
- Ensure Automatically start and complete options are checked > Click Save.

Completion Notification
- You’ll receive an email when the mailbox migration is complete.
