Changing Time and Location Settings (Windows 10)
Some employees require their date and time settings to be set for a differing time zone than the one the device was imaged in (Typically CST). To change your time zone in Windows 10, you can follow the below procedure:
Changing Time Zone
1. Click on the clock in the bottom right corner of your screen
2. Select "Date and Time settings" below the calendar
This opens up the date and time settings window
3. Select the dropdown menu where the time zone is currently set. Switch it to your current time zone.
4. Your clock should automatically update without needing admin credentials.
To be thorough, you can reset your default location for your device.
Changing Location Settings:
1. Click on the magnifying glass in the bottom left corner of your Windows screen.
2. Search for "Location". The option you should be clicking on is "Location Privacy Settings"
3. In the Location Settings window that appears, click on Set Default under Default Location
4.This should bring up a map of the world. If you search for your location, it should give you a geographical zoom in on the center of whatever city you put in. You can select the city, and the default location will be stored.
